Welcome to the HELOA North East Group. We represent the 16 higher education institutions of the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside. The region offers students a superb university experience in some of the most vibrant places to live and study in the UK.
We have over 100 members who meet four times a year to share best practice and discuss the bigger issues in higher education. Our members work in a variety of education liaison related roles and have a wealth of experience to draw upon.
There are other higher education institutions located in the North East region who are not listed here as they are not HELOA members. For full details of all HE providers in the region please see the UCAS website.

Welcome from Group Chair:
Welcome to HELOA North East.
As the 16 HEIs of the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside we meet four times a year to share best practice and discuss the issues related to our line of work. We also provide a number of training opportunities throughout the year to ensure that our members are kept up to date with the latest developments in the sector.
We produce a group booklet that gives details of all member institutions and the courses available; and we are looking at how we can continue to raise the profile of the association within the region.
If you have any questions about HELOA, or have any suggestions for the group then please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Best wishes,
Nicola Noble, HELOA North East Chair
