As mentioned in our June 2020 update, as we are unable to host our National Conference in January 2021, the HELOA Training Team will be working on a range of one day Professional Development Conferences and Webinars to support our members and provide high-level training that mirrors what you would have seen at our national event.
Our June 2020 event, kindly sponsored by UniBuddy saw over 80 of our members talking our mental health for students and higher education staff during the global pandemic. We hope to run two more PDC’s this year – programmes and bookings forms to follow soon.
Into the Unknown: Delivering Blended Outreach

Booking is now open for the virtual HELOA Professional Development Conference, Into the Unknown: Delivering Blended Outreach which is being held via Zoom on Thursday 24th September 2020, 09:45 – 16:30.
With the uncertainty facing the sector this conference will explore blended delivery with case studies from before the summer, how to look after ourselves when we are traveling for events and the importance of supporting schools with Gatsby. If you would be interested in running a session(s) at one of our conferences, please fill in this Expression of Interest form.
We are bringing in some external speakers to provide expert advice and support for some of our more specialist sessions. To cover these costs there will be a small fee to attend. We’ve aimed to keep the cost as minimal as possible to ensure as many delegates and institutions are able to access the training.

Please note that once you have booked a place on the HELOA Conference, we require a minimum of 28 days notice in order to cancel your place. Any cancellations received less than 28 days before the event, will still be charged for in full. If you are no longer able to attend, you are able to send another representative from your institution to fill the place.
