The UK Chair is elected to represent the Association at all levels and ensures the organisation is managed effectively.

UK Vice-Chair (Group Development)

The UK Vice-Chair (Group Development) works closely with the nine groups to develop the framework and structure of the association. This role supports groups in raising their profile within regions and nationally by means of event, publications and conferences.

The UK Vice-Chair (Partnerships) is responsible for developing HELOA’s relationships and partnerships with external organisations. This includes promoting HELOA to stakeholders and developing partnerships with a range of bodies and organisations with similar values.

The UK Vice-Chair (Communications) is responsible for managing all internal communications and marketing activity. This includes managing the HELOA brand and co-oordinating communications with the membership.

UK Vice-Chair (Finance)

The UK Vice-Chair (Finance) is the financial controller of the Association. This role is responsible for the annual budget and keeps the UK Committee updated on the expenditure of the Association, ensuring the accounts are kept up to date and prepared for auditing. The UK Vice-Chair (Finance) also advises on financial matters & investments, reimburses member expenditure, and administers the Group funds.

The UK Vice-Chair (Training) is responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of training for the association, which includes taking the lead on organising the Annual Conference, with the support of the Conference Managers. This role also oversees the New and Professional Development Conferences. This position works closely with the Vice Chair (Group Development) in order to develop a network of training officer and training activities with the UK Groups.

The UK Vice-Chair (Governance & Policy) is responsible for upholding the legal requirements of the Association via the Constitution and the AGM, and drafting/updating all HELOA policies relating to governance and the running of the Association.

Membership Engagement Manager

The Membership Engagement Manager leads the Working Group and the Product Development Group in co-ordinating constructive feedback on and suggesting improvements to the UCAS network of events and portfolio of products and services. The HELOA Group representation will enable coordinated input from all members. UCAS representatives table key items for discussion throughout the cycle to enable active HELOA Member input as well as to allow sharing of sector expertise with UCAS.
