    AGM & Conference:

    The 2012 HELOA Annual Conference and AGM took place on 25th-27th January at the Royal York Hotel, York.  The HELOA Annual Conference and AGM is one of the main training and networking opportunities for members. The conference is held in late January each year and attracts prominent speakers on HE issues. The event provides delegates with the chance to engage in debate on current issues in HE policy, education liaison, marketing, student recruitment, widening participation and admissions. Members also contribute to discussions on the future direction of the Association.

    The HELOA Innovation awards were started in 2011 and recognise some of the excellent work that is taking place everyday amongst our membership.  Shortlisted nominations in 2012 were invited to present their entries and Teesside University were announced winners for 2012 and presented with an award at the Gala dinner.
